As a benefit of the hydraulic drive, the Infinity model uses a submersible pump and motor to keep the noise level lower. By locating the machine room in a utility area, the Infinity is known for whisper-quiet operation while riding it.

Automatic leveling at each landing to ensure the elevator meets the floor precisely and the variable speed pressure valve provides a gradual acceleration and deceleration for gentle stops and starts.

The Infinity can be installed with as little as 92″ of overhead at the top landing for the standard cab height of 80″. The pit depth under the elevator can be as shallow as 8″. Note that the overhead required for a tall cab (84″) is 96″, and the pit depth required for a high-capacity model (HD) is 12″.

Savaria prioritizes safety with a full package of standard safety features. An emergency stop and alarm button are included on the cab operating panel. Elevator gates and doors feature interlocks to prevent them from opening unless the elevator cab is available at the landing. An included UPS battery back-up system powers lowering, cab lighting, lock opening, and gate opening (for automatic gates) in case of a power failure. Upper and lower limit switches are also standard features.
