Straight Stairlifts Product Line
If you have a single flight of straight stairs, a straight stairlift can be installed in as little as a few hours by your local Savaria dealer. You may want to consider power features to make the stairlift easier to use such as a power seat swivel. Your local dealer can arrange to visit your home and recommend the best option for you. They will take into account who is using the stairlift, any specific mobility concerns you have, and what seat might work best for you.
Savaria K2
Our most affordable stairlift with reliable rack and pinion drive and a choice of two seat styles. Can be installed outdoors in milder climates with the outdoor package.
Savaria K2 Plus
This higher capacity stairlift is better for heavier users using the Plus seat. It can also be used in commercial settings in most areas.
Handicare 1000
Suitable for heavier users as well as outdoor installations in milder climates with an outdoor package. A closed gear rack looks clean on the stairs. Also offers a Perch seat.
Handicare 1100
The unique friction drive system does not have a gear rack, giving it the most elegant appearance. It offers many options for both user functions and to work better with your specific home configuration including the unique Slide Track system that moves the rail of the way as the chair moves up and down.

Curved Stairlifts Product Line
If you have a staircase that turns or has an intermediate landing, you will need a curved stairlift. Even if you have a straight flight of stairs, a curved stairlift can provide the additional benefit of “parking” which is a special bend in the stairlift rail that allows you to park the chair out of the way at the top or bottom landing.

This double-rail system is our most basic curved stairlift. Choose from two seat designs.
Handicare 4000
A double-rail system that offers power options including powered seat swivel, power-folding footrest and power folding hinged rail for the bottom landing. Can be used outdoors in mild climates. A choice of 3 seats, plus a Perch seat option and outdoor seat.
Freecurve
A single tube design with a range of power features including an Active Seat. Customize the rail color and choose from 3 seat designs.
Precision-Made Curved Stairlifts
Savaria offers a range of curved stairlifts – all of them are made-to-measure so they fit precisely on your staircase. To ensure this precision fit, we use a proprietary photographic measurement system, that also allows you to see it before you buy it.
Although some staircases are better suited to one rail system over another, Savaria offers a choice of single or twin-rail systems and it is often a style choice by the homeowner. Many clients favor the elegant look of the Freecurve single tube stairlift. The Freecurve handles steep staircases well. Staircases with very tight turns may be better suited to the Handicare 4000 twin-rail system.
