Multilift Vertical Platform Lift

The Multilift runs on standard 110-volt household power with a reliable screw drive and electronic-free relay logic controller. The lift, when adhering to the recommended maintenance schedule has a long life expectancy.

Preparation for the Multilift involves a few simple steps in most cases. The lift must be anchored to a poured concrete pad for stability. To eliminate any pinching hazards during travel, a fascia panel is required along with proper outdoor electrical connection. Installation by the local dealer typically takes one day, after the preparation work.

The Multilift is commonly used for home use, installed outdoors or inside a garage for additional weather protection. In many jurisdictions, the Multilift can also be used in commercial or public buildings. In commercial settings, the lift can be used inside to access raised areas, short mezzanines and changes in levels as a standard lift, or with a factory-built enclosure. Take note that vertical platform lifts cannot penetrate a floor. Enclosure models can be installed with a pit for level entry, or an access ramp when a pit is not feasible.

The Multilift includes a back-up nut with safety switch, as well as manual lowering crank for emergency use. The unenclosed model includes an obstacle sensor system that stops the lift if it encounters any obstructions. An emergency stop button is available on the platform control. The top landing gate, and platform gate (if equipped) include an electro-mechanical lock to prevent the gate from being opened unless the lift is available at the landing.
